I’m a professional pianist based in Berlin near Potsdamer Platz, trained at UCLA under jazz legend Kenny Burrell. I carry a rare musical lineage — my grandmother studied piano directly under Bߩla Bart߳k and Zoltߡn Kodߡly at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest. I teach classical piano, jazz, and music theory to students of all levels, online and in person. My approach is rigorous but deeply personal — I believe every student has a unique musical voice worth developing. My approach as a teacherEvery lesson begins with listening. Before I teach technique, I want to understand how a student hears music, what draws them to the piano, and where they want to go. From there I build a structured but flexible path tailored entirely to them — not a one-size-fits-all method book.A typical lessonWe usually open with technique — scales, arpeggios, or specific exercises addressing whatever the student is working through. From there we move into repertoire, working phrase by phrase with close attention to tone, timing, and musical intention. I always leave time at the end to step back and hear the piece as a whole.
